I do not usually get excited about a vacum cleaner, however VAX can be heartily recommended for their after sales service as well as for an outstanding product. I bought an upright VAX about 3 years ago and took out the maintenance plan a year later when the appliance needed a repair. The plan was very reasonable and the repair service was second to none. In November this year (2009) once again the machine needed a repair so I packed it back off under the repair plan and Hey Presto! I received a new VX2 as my own cleaner would take too long to get a part!
Initially I was a bit underwhelmed as I have a pet and needed an upright I felt to pick up pet hair at times. How wrong had I been, this machine is better than an upright and so easy to use. It breezes through the cleaning with little effort from me faster than I thought possible with outstanding results. Not only that but the tools contained within the body are really well designed (must have been a woman) a perfectly angled crevice cleaner is particularly brill. 100% top marks from me a real thumbs up for Vax all round.
